Terms of use

These terms cover your use of MyRecall, the app at myrecall.me and in the App Store. By using MyRecall you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

Your account

Keep access to your email secure, since that’s how you sign in. You’re responsible for what happens in your account. You must be at least 13 to use MyRecall.

Your content

What you put in MyRecall stays yours. You give us permission to store, process, and show it only as needed to run MyRecall for you and for the people you share it with. You can export or delete it at any time.

Sharing with others

When you share an area, the people in it can see, change, and delete what’s in it. Only share with people you trust, and only share what you have the right to share.

Acceptable use

Please don’t use MyRecall to:

• harass, threaten, or harm anyone, or share content that’s illegal, hateful, or sexually exploitative;
• send spam or unwanted invitations;
• upload malware or content you don’t have the rights to;
• try to access other people’s information, get around limits or security, or disrupt the service.

You can report or block anyone you share with, from their name in a shared area, an invitation, or a comment. We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms.

The service

We work hard to keep MyRecall reliable, and reminders are sent on a best-effort basis. Please don’t rely on MyRecall alone for anything where a missed reminder could cause serious harm, such as medical, legal, or safety deadlines. MyRecall is provided “as is”, and features may change as we improve it. MyRecall is free during the beta; if that changes, we’ll tell you before you’re asked to pay anything.

Ending your use

You can stop using MyRecall and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and we’ll give notice when we reasonably can.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, MyRecall isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data or missed reminders, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past twelve months.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect.
